Im off to uni soon and have saved just over £800, after a laptop that will support decent games (battlefield skyrim etc) but not going for a desk top so its more portable, any ideas?

Maybe the Alienware M11x. It makes up for it's mid-range graphics with a small, low-res screen.

That is a decent budget, you should be able to find one with a decent gfx card no probs. I would go for a 16 inch screen max as the 17+ ones are heavy and a pain in the ass to carry around.

Some like this sony with a GT540 is a decent deal:

You could also get one of the Dell XPS 15" for that, they have the GT525.

You may be able to find one of the ASUS G series for around 800 as well, they are usually higher end and over 1000 bux but shop around.

    What about something from DevilTech?

    Der Teufel

I feel like there was another outfit similar to DevilTech that got high "marks"...

^^Only a few will get it.
