I'm searching for the best about 1200W power supply (2x Xeon v3, 2x 980, 8 drives, 8 sticks of ram, few fans, overclocking, expandability).

I came with a list of top brands:

Corsair AXi
Antec High Current Pro/Platinium
CoolerMaster V Series
EVGA G2
Kingwin Lazer
PC Power & Cooling Silencer
Seasonic
XFX Black, XXX series

From this i've chose Corsair AX1200i but strongly consider EVGA or Seasonic psus..

What are Your advices?

skt2011 and skt2011-3 Xeons don't overclock and more cores doesn't mean better gaming. Ditch the dual-CPU idea and go with a 5820k or 5930k instead. It's less money and makes more sense for gaming. You probably could even get away with a Devil's Canyon and an i7 instead which would be fine for two GPUs, but skt2011-3 would let you keep those 8 DIMM slots and would make more sense for 3 GPUs if you decided to buy another and do 4K or something.

Clearly you're thinking about high-end hardware so you have money to spend just don't blow it on the wrong expensive things, which skt2011-3 Xeons are (for strictly gaming).

I forgot to wrote that it isn't a gaming rig but workstation machine for rendering (CAD, 3Ds Max, Vray, PS). So i need the as many cores as i can have. GPUs are also for rendering in real time. Just looking for the best PSU.

the Seasonic X-1250 is really nice, and they make the corsair PSU's, ( im fairly sure), but the Corsair AXI 1200 has a REALLY nice 7 year warranty, and they Charge for it....but that piece of mind is VERY comforting.(($340 USD.)) In My opinion, You Can't beat Corsair for PSU's...not to mention trying to find a warranty that is even close to theirs. The 1500 AXI corsair isn't TOO bad, but has a Much shorter warranty, and is about $100 USD more expensive.

The Enermax Maxrevo isn't terrible, but it's a 1500 watt PSU. and only holds a few year warranty, but is $50-$60 less.

I don't know how long your looking to keep this machine up and running, or how long You plan to run the PSU for, but I'm assuming 3 years until You upgrade minimum, So I'd look for a GOOD brand, like Corsair or it's equal, and atleast a 3-5 year warranty. With the better companies You probably won't ever NEED the warranty, but Lets be honest, THAT'S what the big Companies offer, service, since they are just rebranded PSU's from Lesser known companies. My vote is for Corsair, or Seasonic. Hope We get to see some Pic's from this build :) Good Luck.

P.S. , keep in mind that the rating system for PSU's ( bronze /Silver/Gold/Platinum/titanium +) , is ONLY when the PSU is running @ 75+% of it's max wattage, If your running @ say 50% , Your NOT going to See that efficiency. I'm NOT saying it will be terrible, but SOME people see those sticker rating's on the Label , and Make they're purchases based soley off of that. I figured it was worth mentioning is all.

Gotcha, then forget my recommendation. I love my Seasonic 1000w Platinum, very solid PSU and makes very little heat at 50% load.

One thing to remember: Most dual socket boards need 2 x 8-pin EPS connectors in addition to the 24-pin ATX and all the PCIe connectors That eliminates most of the lower wattage PSUs. even if that amount of power isn't needed

Doesn't LEPA also make awesome supplies? IIRC one guy was pulling nearly 2000w from a 1600w unit.

Wouldn't that be a bad thing since that means the over current protection circuitry failed or doesn't exist?

Yes, but I don't like how that unit had 6 12v rails. The Seasonic 1000w Platinum has a single beefy rail.

Wouldn't that be a bad thing since that means the over current protection circuitry failed or doesn't exist?
Yes, but that is what happens then the current draw is so high that the voltage drops and the drop in voltage is made up with current. That's when it becomes bad. Also, some really crappy motherboards won't deassert the PWR_ON pin which could prevent the PSU from shutting down in the case of a problem.

Corsair AX1500i also has a 7 years of warranty. I am buying hardware not often, i am looking forward to keep this system at least 7/8 years, running often it 24h/24h. Thanks for info about rating. I checked and AX1200i has 2xEPS connector.

Thanks for info!

Totally overkill. Xeons don't use much power and Dual SLI also doesn't use that much.
2 XEONS ~ 260W
1 WS MB ~ 60W
2 GTX TITAN BLACKS ~ 600W ~750W OCed
TOTAL maximum power load: 1070W
So a 1250W X series Seasonic will do just fine
