I have $100 to spend (can't spend a penny more) on a video card. I'm looking for the best card for that price range. I'm not looking to play BF3 or anything, just simply Diablo 3 and some other stupid games (SWTOR/GW2 etc). Any suggestions on a card?

Green camp's 550Ti is the direct competitor to the 6770 at the ~$100 range, but I can't find one which is lower than $100

If you want to try the used route there's quite a few GTX 460's for sale under $100 in the classifieds here, and I bought a 6870 for $115 a few days ago. Wizzard's aggregate performance chart shows the 1GB 460 having a 36% advantage over the 7750, and the 6870 having a 59% advantage.

New though, the 7750 is @ $100 is an ok deal...seems to be exactly the same performance wise as the 5770 / 6770 and it's a lot more power efficient.

Thanks again. Not to get too off-topic here, how do you like the 212+? I haven't used air coolers in a while, but I'm trying to save as much as possible and noticed the 212 is cheap as hell compared to what I was going to get.

It's a slow card, plain and simple. I'm not sure what's to argue about that. It's barely as fast as the old 4870 I have boxed up in my garage.

Yeah i dont know why anyone is recommending a 7750. That is pretty shitty card when it comes down to performance.

Because its the best new card in the $100 range. Any new card in the $100 range is going to be shitty by any standards

Well if the OP can afford the HD 6850 will be a better option.

Duh. It's cheap and uses very little power.
