Total = $80

I wouldn't bring this up directly w/ my wife. (In this exact wording)
However I don't think 1.5 hours per week is too much gaming.

"I have learned in 5 years of marriage that it isn't how much time I spend gaming it is how I spend my time when not gaming." 1STRIVE

I am to the point in my relationship now that if my wife says "Hey Hun you sure have been playing that game a lot lately". It doesn't mean that is what has been going on.
What she is really saying is...I could use some attention from you.
If I take care of my relationship with my wife everyday, she will feel good about herself and our marriage. Then there isn't a need to feel like she is competing for, my time, against the computer.

Just one man's experience…

I changed the pic because this one is old and blurry, so you probally couldn't pick us out in a crowd.
That's me and my wife and son on a train to london.

Oh and if you comment, keep em clean, or I'll hunt you down and Kill you. lol

No seriously I will.

I think this is a good topic, self restraint/discipline is a great thing to have many gamers game probably far too much for their own good. For alot of people it is tough to find that place of balance. Lately I have been doing about the same as you 1-2 hours weekly, but when your starting a buisness from scratch, I think it's understandable I don't have more game time.

Thanks for sharing man!

Yea I agree with you. During the week, it is pretty much work (no time for gaming). On the weekends I like to get a few hours of gaming in, then spend time with my gurl and friends. I agree with you that it is sometimes tough to limit yourself with games esp. when you get caught up in it. Its like reading a book(I hate reading lol), except soooo much better.

Yeah, I could stand to learn some self restraint...It's not gaming I'm worried about, its GAIM/TPU/NG that eats up all my time. I probably spend 2 hours a day gaming, I don't watch TV alot, and I really need to relearn how to have fun OFF the computer :p. I used to have my router cut my internet off at 10:30 at night, and not have it restore internet until 7:00 in the morning. Sadly, my router couldn't keep the time straight, and I had to turn it off.

Women love attention and constantly seek it. You want a girl to get interested in you, ignore her, works everytime. Anyhow, let's get down to brass tacks here. You guys don't actually believe that you only spend 1-1.5hours in an entire week gaming, do you? :D
