BIOSTAR Preparing To Launch New “Hi-Fi Mainboard”

BIOSTAR is getting ready for the launch of a new Hi-Fi series motherboard, with a brand new outlook design, cutting-edge features and innovative durability enhancements. The board, based on the Intel Z97 chipset will come with key features and BIOSTAR’s exclusive Hi-Fi Audio technology.

BIOSTAR’s in-house technology will be evident with featuressuch as Hi-Fi technology, Golden Plated Audio Connectors, 8 Phase Power Design and Super Conductive Heat sinks.

Looks pretty much the same as the recent release of those 9 series from Asus or ECS. Just curious how will it perform setting aside those "similarities".

should perform fine. Biostar makes good, reliable products, but doesn't often go "all out" like some other brands do. That also means they don't cost as much, either. For the average user, they are a great option, but if you want to push your system to the absolute limit of performance byy overclocking, sometimes those other brands fare better. If you run "stock", you'll not notice the difference.

yeah, sometimes it's not about the brand and how that certain thing is packaged. if we'll look deeper, we'll realize that there are things that performs pretty much the same but will not hurt your pocket.
