So I currently have my GPU pulled and am running off of my Intel 4000, but I've done some basic troubleshooting and am wondering for second opinions on whether it's A: drivers, B; The Graphics card, or C: The PCI-e slot.

1. Safe mode boots and I tried deleting and reinstalling the regular drivers, leading to the same effect on bootup.
2. DVI connected to the GPU works fine in safe mode and up to the point that the screen goes pure black after the windows logo.
3. No problems at all on the integrated graphics at this time.

I unfortunately lack a second GPU to use to test the PCI-e slot, so I was hoping to get another opinion of something I may have missed or whether there may be software that might be useful right now.

Details, we need details!
What components are you using in that system?
Motherboard, ram, PSU, CPU, Cooler, OS, Drivers?

If the card works in Safe mode it indicates a driver issue.
Try the card in another slot just to be sure, if possible.
Has the card been flashed at any stage?
