I have had like 4 of these BOOT MGR Missing errors due to PC failing to restart due to bad OC in last week. I have tried to fix it with windows repair from OS disk, but it doesn't find any OS.

    What is wrong ?

read your HDD SMART data seems like it might be a spool up issue one of your HDD's might be caving...also do a chkdsk and tell it to repair errors on reboot.

that did it. saved me a lot of headache.

USB was set as first HDD to boot from instead of the OS disk connected to the first SATA controller.

how do i do read SMART data ?
