Well they showed 2 Gameplay footage, 1 with Physx Enabled and the Other Not Enabled, To get best possible experience would to have a Physx card installed.

Good god I need a new motherboard for a physx card.....

Any fairly cheap p67/z68 boards with 4 pci-e slots?

All we know is a "nice visual experience" but when you are shooting and playing fast you don't care about how visual looks like.

I do. I like liquid and cloth dynamically reacting to the action, its subtle but I notice it. Lets me get a bit more out of the expensive Nvidia hardware.

I think PhysX looks great in games however there aren't enough games to justify the expense imo.

I think it's a shame when game developers do this.

Indeed, I don't see any reason for Physx to be locked to Nvidia cards it is not some all powerful way to create realistic physics that could not be done on AMD cards it simply comes down to money and Nvidia has alot more to play with than AMD :/

Whilst I would prefer an OpenCL based option so everyone can enjoy physics simulations in game.

I think having extra effects on an Nvidia card isn't a problem really ( If the dev decided to use phsyx why not)

How ever what bothers me is that they don't even TRY to put something similar in place a lot of the time there is literally NOTHING if you play with phsyx disabled ) I mean, they didn't even add the pipe, or ANY water at all with phsyx disabled for one example. It's just shitty. And since AMD have the larger GPU market share right now it's stupid.

It annoys me with THD games as well, it's all effects that the other GPUs support and all it takes is buying chainfire 3d to run tegra effects on other gpus : /

Nice effects, really enhances the game.

Shame about the needless proprietary lock-in though.

Hopefully it is well implemented and people do not see some frame drop when the effects happen.

I was talking about Market share, not steam statistics : ]

Intel have about 60% still. ( yay intergrated graphics!)

    AMD have about 24%
    Nvidia have about 16%

As APUs become more popular I imagine AMD will take a quite the chunk out of Intels share soon.

Looks great with the Physx. Can't wait for this game. Does anyone know if there are special pre order deals on it for PC?
