Haha, so Shroomalistic is still using Internet Explorer. I've been telling him for years he needs to change browsers. I'm a personal fan of Google Chrome, but I told him at least switch to Firefox or Opera. I decided getting you guys involved was my only hope. Is it time for Shroomalistic to switch? Or am I the actual one that is on the outside?

We can ban him if he is using IE :p

Nah, I think IE8 is not too bad, Firefox is getting too clunky and I am now using Chrome. Going to switch back to Firefox soon though. If he is using IE6, its time to bring in the flamethrower and cleanse that soul.

Opps, the Poll says "Does Blaze" instead of "Does Shroomalistic". His name on steam is Blaze. If someone could change that, that would be awesome. It won't let me for some reason.

For the longest time I hated Safari, but I tried it once and love the mulipage layout. I don't use it on a regular basis but its great for news and events across multiple sites.

FireFox is my favorite, hands down. Sleek, lite, and tons of add ons to customize.

IE8 is better than 7 but I don't think I'll use it. Chrome has been coming along really well and hopefully will be continually updated.

But FF is so awesome! Addons to save parts of a webpage as an image, script blockers, cool themes, Youtube downloaders, you name it, it exists. Never will I use something as featureless as IE again :shadedshu

If it ain't broken, don't fix it. He likes IE8, its not broken, so don't bother trying to change it, given that he is not stubborn enough not to try other browsers. If he finds IE lacking, he will actively seek a new browser, but for now, I respect his choices.

Firefox is my fav browser... I tried chrome but, browsing speed apart, his extension I use on firefox sux or doesnt'exist.

Adblock plus on chrome doesn't prevent adv download, it simply hide adv on the page
Gmail manager on chrome doesn't exist! Varius gmail extesion don't support multiple account checking...
    DownThemAll doesn't exist on chrome...

FOR ME Firefox is simply the best :rockout: btw chrome is a decent browser compared to IE :toast:

I think he should stick to IE8. I use Chrome for browsing, IE8 for everything else.

I found chrome slows down and has a resource increase after using it for a while. I'm a FF guy because of the security and addons but if your looking for the least resource hog there is new data that says IE uses the least amount out of all of them.. Safari is interesting but I find it hoggish and slow.

I say we need a new browser. Even FF isn't the streamlined bad boy it used to be. The more they do to it now the worse it gets. I remember when it was streamlined and really fast. No fancy bells and whistles and would work with flash and java.. you didn't need more than that. Seems the more they change the code to make it better the worse it gets.

IE8 is a good browser to use. I prefer FF or its spin offs. I have been using SeaMonkey for about 2 years. Its fast, reliable (no IE shut downs ) and it does pretty much everything IE does. Give SeaMonkey a look, you might like it. http://www.seamonkey-project.org/

Uh oh Shroom, the masses have spoken! :)

That Sea Monkey looks super cool. I'll throw that on my laptop and use it on there to try it out.

Use what you like, all this crap about you need to use the browser I want you to use is idiotic.

I can't believe anyone actually cares enough about what browser someone else uses that they would create a topic about it...

He should switch to Firefox, using Adblock+ & Flashblock plugins. No more irritating, intrusive ads! Bliss. You can add an IE skin, like I do if you like the look.

FF has lots of other cool features too, but these will keep me on FF regardless of any other features or performance on other browsers.

A bit off topic, but get Klite Codec pack and WMP will play everything under the sun, don't need to go and DL other garbage and have multiple media players.

who cares what browser he uses, the only reason im using opera now is because i like my 5x5 speed dial and i have it skinned to be completely transparent. As long as it renders the page right i fail to see what the fuss is about.
