Buffalo to Release New, Windows 8.1-Ready Wireless Mouse

    By the end of this month Buffalo will be releasing a new peripheral, the BSMBW09 Series wireless mouse. This model measures 73 x 107 x 40 mm and features 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity, a Blue LED sensor with a maximum resolution of 1200 dpi, a scroll wheel and four buttons including two side buttons for quick access to the Windows 8.1 Start Screen and Charms Bar.

    Buffalo's mouse can offer up to 134 hours of continuous use on a single battery and comes in six color versions - black, white, silver, blue, red and pink. The BSMBW09 is set to cost 3,465 yen (~ 35 USD).

    Just as effective as selling a pair of 3.5mm jack earphones calling it compatible with all mp3 players and ipods. Very useful for these people with their old Nokias at least.

    These days with smartphones compatibility is not guaranteed actually. It sucks in many ways.

    The basics should after all it is highly standardised how mice work. The thumb buttons should work too if there are decent default settings.

    Windows 8.1 ready? How in the world did they manage that gargantuan technological feat!?!?

    Seriously, are there really people in the world that would be swayed by such marketing BS?
