A Opteron 185 for my Abit AT8 32X, and also a Scyth Ninja cooler and a ATI X1950 XTX for the Abit. and a 20X Liteon DVD burner and a floppy drive...... and a Logitech Revolution Mouse. I better quit while I am ahead.

    Wanna buy me a C2D?

Just think about how great you'll feel giving to the poor.

LOL. I just bought a E6420 today. I'm not sure my E6300 has been in my system long enough for the AS5 to cure :). I'm addicted to the building, OC'ing, stabalizing, and benchmarking...then I get bored. It seems this happens faster and faster with each build. Oh, and then I need to try a new HSF with almost each build to. It's my hobby. I enjoy the process. Also, I usually get most of my money back out of each old build.

I paid $80 for the Corsair and $260 for the new ATI X1950 XTX on e-bay. $90 for the Ballistix after rebate from the Egg, $330 for the Opteron 185, $48 for the Liteon and $8 for the floppy drive and $44 for the cooler locally. The Revolution mouse was a warranty replacement for my 4.5 year old MX700.... $840 for what I didn't have

Hahaha! I, too, just went on a buying binge! lol (Tax return) Bought a 12000 btu portable air conditioner, Samsung BDP-1000 Blu-Ray player, A64 X2 4000+ Brisbane cpu, Swiftech H20-120 Premium wc kit, Swiftech MCW30 chipset block, and a bunch of Scythe S-Flex fans (the 9dba models). All that, and I still have $400 left over to buy a gfx card. I'm gonna wait until ATI releases their new stuff, and see what offers the best performance for the money, be it ATI or nVidia. Grand total in the neighborhood of $1100. Not that bad really, considering the Blu-Ray is usually $500+ and the portable air conditioner usually goes for $450+.
