This thread is for the discussion of overclocking Intels Core 2 Extreme chips. Please post your max stable CPU speeds. Include a CPU-Z screenshot and your Voltage settings.

also i will make a ranks field later (countdown clock speed).

I aint a QX user (too expensive), but I'm interested in the results. Extreme chips, show some extreme clocks:toast:

you can do higher overclock using lower multiplier , also with lower multiplier you can overclock using lower voltage

    welcome my friend
mmm ,you want stick with lower multiplier, i like high FSB too cuz it give high range ram overclock too , but remember high clock give you high 3D mark score , but high FSB give good applications run
there is something about C2QX , always go for lower voltage overclock cuz this cpu design for this jop
and about your mobo NB and SB , try set 1.4V for NB and 1.5V is ok too but it give you more NB temp no problem if you good cooling case , try 1.4V first
and about SB increase 0.1v from the stock , 0.2V more is ok too
im here for any other question

    tzitzibp says thanks.
