Can anyone recommend a good pair of headphones?

    Preferably in ear but if it's small (as small as skullcandy lowriders or similar) then overear as well.
    But the real decider... if the thickness of the cable

    I really should have mentioned my low budget (no more than £20)

    All my headphones always break at the tip of the cable, by the 3.5mm jack :(

    Sony MDR EX-500LP very comfortable and good sound quality, bass a bit warm but awesome!

    Edit* there £15 over budget but there worth it

    Get JVC Gumy, at £5 you can break 4 of them and still stay within budget :D Sound quality wise, they are just as bad as the supplied iPod ones. Just use duct tape to reinforce the place where breaks usually happen.
