Can I play PC games in 3D on a 3D HDTV or does it have to be a 3D monitor specific?

pretty sure you need something like nvidia's 3D vision to play games on a pc in 3D regardless. Not sure what AMD uses.

AMD uses tridef 3d, which i have the trial downloaded... i guess i can try it and see what happens, its just a lot of working moving my pc
