Should be fine. The Intel CPU doesn't pull much

Yep you are fine if the PSU has not been in use for a long time.

You've got enough amps on the +12V rail to run the 270X but from what I saw on your PSU you only have one 6 Pin power connector. The 270X requires two 6 Pin connectors. You would have to use molex adapter for the second 6 Pin.

I think it has 2 12v rails.

Yes I know and I gave that some thought before posting above. It has 2 rails @18 amps each on the +12V rails for 216 watts on each rail. I read a review of a similar R9 270X here and the peak wattage used was 135 watts. Let's just round that up to 150 watts. Since your PSU has only one 6 pin power connector then I would assume whoever designed the PSU would not put the 6 pin and the CPU/rest of system all on the same rail. That wouldn't make sense so I think the 6 pin and CPU/rest of the system are most likely on two separate rails. That means that even if your GPU were pulling 75 watts from the same rail as the CPU/rest of the system then you would still not be close to overloading that rail.

According to the specs it can. 28 amps on the +12V rail for 336 watts is enough. It has a 6 pin and a 6+2 pin connector and so it provides the required two 6 pin connectors needed by the GPU you want. The only thing is that I am unfamiliar with the quality of Raw Power products. Some low quality PSUs don't provide the amps/watts they claim to. Check around and make sure that they are trustworthy first.

I think it should be enough. Antec VP450 is a good unit and the 12v rails are perfectly capable to powered that i3 + 270X, even with overclock.

In the past, i had my CPU Phenom II X4 955 (125W) + a juicy Sapphire HD4890 OC (190W) powered by a LC-power 550 with only 24 amp on 12v (14 + 15). Yes, yesterday i would not do it and i know it was very risky, still i had it for almost 2 years till i replace it for my current XFX 650 Pro (I still have the LC-Power in other Desktop with a 5770 GFX) and this i3 + 270X pull much less wattage from the outlet, beyond that, Antec VP450 is better unit and has more Amps on 12v.

If you already have that PSU, give it a try with a molex to PCI-e power cable. I really don't think you'll have a problem with it. If you are looking to purchase a PSU, I'd recommend looking for one which has the connectors that you need. I don't understand why PSU manufacturers only put 1 PCI-e power connectors on these <500 watt PSU's, especially since GPU manufacturers have made a habit of putting 2x 6 pin PCI-e power connectors on GPU's that don't really need them.
