The titles says it pretty much...
I have the cooler already with me...I now have to decide which CPU to get...I can get the i7 930 but 875k overclocks better...so will I be able to use it...I'm asking because I see zerotherm core92 which is for 1366 has been mentioned to be used on 1156...does it have different mounting clip?

Most likely, the same mounting clip for both. My scythe cooler can work for 775, 1156 and 1366. It just has sliders to move the push pins to the right socket.

Like he said!

Some boards come with 1366 and 775 mounting holes. my rampage GENE II came with 775 holes as well as 1366 so my Apogee GT block is in the 775 holes :)

As far as I know, unless you got a new mounting kit, no.

The cooler was LGA775 and LGA1366 only when I hade mine. No LGA1156 mounting:(

Yes, as far as specs go..it doesn't mention 1156...i was wondering if mouting position for 1366 and 1156 is same?
