I'm gonna vote for a bad Windows 7 installer disc, please try somethin like Windows XP or Vista and see if the problem persists.

I'm willing to bet it doesn't...

And if your copy is illegal, don't burn the .iso again to another disc and try that... cos the .iso might just be plain shit

If it's legal, then it still might be a bad disc... so try XP or Vista or something

If you really need it I can hook you up with a fast download link for an XP or Vista .iso

It was my 20 year old surge protector.

The Fuse inside was only rated for 2AMPs, this power supply draws 3amps. When it tried to draw the amperage, it wouldn't let it.

Hence

Stuttering, which I ahve had since I have had high end video cards.

It all connects now.

Okay, instead of the core clock dropping to 40MHZ it's dropping to 400mhz. I think because of the old surge protector, it has damaged the power supply, after 6 years (that's how old this power supply is). The surge protector is older then me, (my dad got it in 1984).

No wonder it smelled like the power supply was burning at one point, but still worked. I will order a new power supply on monday. I wish I could do a mass Thank you on this post.

Your Burst should be higher..
Try this go to Computer management then Device manager then right click on your raid0 and select properties then go to policies Tab and be sure the Enable write caching on the device is selected.

OH YA...it the Intel® Matrix Storage Manager that gives that awsome burst! And I think its the same setting too but the Intel® Matrix Storage Manager has to be installed ...Not sure about that with your mobo tho...Come on TPU help me out here..plz
