I like the Asus. It costs just $100 more and you get more RAM, 1080p display, a discrete video card, a higher capacity hard drive. It would be nice if it had Wireless 802.11ac, but I think 802.11b/g/n will suite you fine. Looks like the 2020 program is graphics intensive, so the Asus would definitely be better suited for this type of use. I would check what type of LAN port it has, it should be gigabit. If you can afford an SSD, say a 240GB capacity, it would be a great upgrade for this laptop. Perhaps something to consider down the road. Otherwise, check xoticpc.com. I recently purchased a laptop from them and I am very happy with it. Some people have had issues with them, but I have only good experiences with them.

cheers!
