Can't extend 3 screens.

Hey guys I've mounted a TV above my 2 PC screens so I can watch Australian rules football, cricket etc on it, but I also want to use it as a third screen. I've plugged it in via HMDI to minidisplay port yet it won't allow me to extend my desktop onto it. Do I need an active display port or something?

When I try to extend it, it just says "Unable to save display settings"

AMD GPUs only have 2 RAMDACs. If you want to run a third display, you need an active DP adapter that provide that 3rd RAMDAC clock. I ran into this issue when I bought 3 displays and Norton was kind enough to send me an active adapter which worked like a charm.
