I'm using Windows 10 64-bit with an i5-2500k (HD 3000 Graphics) on an Asrock Z68, and I have a GTX 970. From what I can tell via Googling, Intel does not have a driver for HD 3000 on Windows 10, which led me to the website leshcatlabs which a few users have claimed the custom made driver there worked for the HD 3000 and Quicksync. I downloaded the 15.11 driver from the site, and then installed it. It seems to have installed fine, it has a driver date of 11/3/15 (Version 10.17.10.4229) and the signer is Karl Sabo. I have a second monitor plugged into my motherboard via DVI and it works perfectly fine, which leads me to believe the driver is fine.
All that said, I cannot get Quicksync working which was the goal I set out with. In OBS, Quicksync is greyed out. I installed Handbrake as well just to make sure it wasn't something with OBS, and it says Quicksync hardware not detected. The necessary settings in the BIOS are enabled, if they weren't I don't think my second monitor would be working since it's connected to the motherboard. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Edit: Got it to work, using an older driver (14.4) from the leshcatlabs site worked.
