make sure you patch FC4, aparently there is a big FPS bump with this driver.

Dunno how it ran before but no issue here with max detail, well except for blur which i find very annoying. FC4 is playing without issue for me.

Check the dates The Mac was on the ball here . And as i was playing the game at release it was much welcomed information and was up at 12am but not 3am so ..

^^Besides that some prefer to surf for selective topics vs news in general. I always go here to look for new driver info, and sometimes to post it if it's not been.

Do you really need it explained?

1. New AMD driver heads ups have been common here for some time, with no one having seen it as odd or complaining about it.
2. You put it in words that suggests he's abusing the forum, or at the very least being redundant, despite such threads getting regular participation here.
3. You should have just seen the way it's been, and the fact that no members or staff have complained about it, and left well enough alone.
4. You're implying we should have to browse the general news forum just to get driver info is as bit pushy and nosy.

Maybe you didn't intend it as trolling, but it comes off that way, esp when you persist instead of just leaving well enough alone. At best it's inconsiderate backseat moderating, which is often interpreted as trolling. And of course I know what trolling means. You've succeeded at provoking an argument where there should be none. Pretty accurate description really. And yeah, rant is appropriate too, because here you are complaining about my response, and now even implying me stupid.

Not many on the net like a stuffy, pushy attitude/person, and implying I need educating for pointing out the obvious makes you look that way all the more. If that's not clear enough for you, consider that a thread on a topic you're used to seeing elsewhere is something you don't need to peek at, since you seem inclined to for some reason. You might just find you're going to be told not to stick your nose in where it doesn't belong.

Now go back to pretending you're more educated for reading forums that say "news" on them, by staying there. Maybe you'll somehow feel the world is in order that way.

Personally, i never go to the news page unless im directed there for something specific.

I get my news elsewhere.

I only care about the AMD forum.
