Looking to buy a full system(tower only) for as little as possible. My current girlfirend's son is about to turn 17. Because of a deadbeat dad, this boy has never had anything nice that he could call his own. Really don't want to spend much more than $300 if I go with used. Here's a build I put together on newegg if I go new.

    So what you got?

I had a deadbeat dad, so I feel for him. It's awesome that you're doing this. I don't have a full system available, but I do have a Pentium e1200, 160GB HDD and some fans and maybe 4GB of Crucial Ballistix if they would be helpful. Yours for the cost of shipping for being a nice guy. Also, since you are in Southeastern Virginia, I could probably meet you somewhere instead of shipping the stuff.

I'm in for whatever additional parts you need to get the rig running. I may be able to donate a 19" LCD monitor if needed.

If you need a 2GB stick of ddr3, I could part with it out of my tri kit, I'm game. Don't have any other spares available though, about 75% of my stuff got pitched when I moved. :ohwell:

I would be willing to give also. I have 3 boys, none my own. All three have piece of shit "fathers". Father is a serious word, more like sperm donors. I feel for the boy. Let me know. :toast: I have a new from RMA MSI AM2+/AM3 board.
