If you need a heatsink I have a AMD stock AM2 heatsink, I believe it will fit.
Thanks, but I have a Cooler Master 752 heatsink coming with the CPU
i dont know if you still want but i have 2 uv cathodes, some 80mm led fans,uv five led spot light, and other neat things a kid might like in his rig I would be willing to donate to you just pay shipping?
Paulieg PMed me & he's still a go for the OCZ, but since he'll be in need of a PSU, we are working something out
the hardware started arriving today. The CPU, heatsink, fans and monitor from kenkickr and motherboard from blkhogan arrived today. I believe the case was sent off today and the RAM is being sent off tomorrow. Just waiting on Paulieg's RMA for the replacement PSU to be completed so he can send me the PSU and hard drive he's donating.
Again, a hugh thank you to all of you who offered to donate some hardware for this build, whether I took you up on the offer or not.
Be sure to use a surge protector!
Stinger608 should be shipping his stuff tomorrow and you'll see it on Friday.
You guys are fucking awesome. I had to work my ass off and spend around a grand the piece of crap I have now (damn retail). I think you guys just made a life-time TPUer outta this kid Seriously, people who donate like this should be given special tagging or something. I would give him something if I had anything to give.
Dude, that is a excellent idea.
Actually, believe it or not, the newer PSUs have internal surge protectors built in. I believe it is the MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) that takes care of that. But that would only cover the tower, not the monitor
My daughter said something pretty funny a couple weeks ago giving me the idea for a tag or something.

Ram Will be sent out Monday. Haven't had the time the last few days to send it (Hospital Week & Nursing Week). I hope he has a great Birthday.
Well, he knows exactly whats going on now. Saturday night, His mom and I took him to a friend of mine's house for his birthday party. I brought this thread up on my friends computer(which had the monitor Ken sent hooked up to it) and told him to read all four pages. Sean's face was red as hell and he was shaking as he was reading the thread. Then he came to my post where I said-
and he just stopped. He was like "wait a minute, something doesn't add up right here". Then I said" What? Everything adds up perfectly", waited a few seconds, and then I said "That's your monitor your looking at". If the boy wasn't sitting down, he woulda fell down. TOTAL SHOCK AND AWE. He just can't believe that people actually care enough to help him out like this. About the only thing he could say is "THAT'S AWESOME". Needless to say, that was THE BEST birthday party he's ever had. Thank you everyone for helping me make it happen.
That is Epic Thanks for letting us know how it went.
Yeah, now it's just a matter of everything getting here so him and I can put it together. Well, he's gonna put it together with me helping him do it.
Honored to be here and I have linked this thread to other forum's...wish I had seen it earlier. Thanks to all, you brightened my day!
