Cheap Video card

Doing a build for someone that doesn't need anything special. No gaming. Just watching movies, internet etc...
I need a video card $50.00 or less. The cheaper the better. I am trying to keep this build around $400.00 and upgradeable to vista, some day...

Here's what i have so far:

I would go for a 8500gt...they are abour $50-60 after MIR.

I have a 8500GT in my mother's computer, it suits her needs (And those of your friends) perfectly. Plus if mom ever wants to do some light fragging the 8500GT can handle older games.

The Radeon HD 2400 series is a good choice for the needs you described.

Can be had for under $50 without rebates

8500GT or 2400 the 8500GT is a little more expensive but if Hats is any use for comparison it can keep up with my 7800GS in most games

2400 is the one if they will be watching any hd vids, although with that proc that it shouldnt be a big issue anyway as it too has enough power.

could save a few bucks on no-name ram too as its never going to be stressed

I would go with an E2160 processor rather than an E4500. My old Xp2000+ machine does fine for what you are talking about.
