Clarkdale's on the Egg right now...
Thanks for the heads up.
Screw that shit, the 670 is more expensive than the 860...
They can be found in the UK on various sites too now.
The cheapest one being under 100 quid
Could over clock that to the same speeds as the 356 pound noe easy XD
I say again... http://hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=939176
The i5 650 is $195, the i5 750 is $199. I guess the IGP is playing a big role in the unexpected "high" pricing. It makes sense in some ways... but in others ways why not just go with i5 750/i7 8xx and enjoy the awesomeness?
I wonder if 5ghz 24/7 is attainable with these chips? If so, it would justify the price maybe.
Heh. when I got kicked off of XS, that's what I told Francis I wanted..5ghz 24/7. If they pull it off, i'm selling every single sytem I got and buying new clarkdales, mobos, and mem.
I can only dream...
why use a high end dual core processor if you are going to be using an IGP? wtf intel? the premium price has no reasoning behind it.
This is for the select few of us that run benchmarks...the chip is memory crippled but the overclocking ability is second to none.
