What is your motherboard? I'm assuming it's an OEM board.

Assuming that "clock it" means overclocking, in "Cell Menu" there is an option called "Adjust CPU FSB Frequency (MHz)". Raising that is how you overclock on that motherboard with that processor.

on the msi website it says that there are EasyOC switches on your motherboard. That would be easiest way to overclock. Check your manual for details. For stability testing OCCT is a good program

If you go in your profile you can fill in all your system specs. This will help members to give you better advise. What games are you trying to play? Both your CPU and GPU are pretty low end so upgrading them will help your fps.

I would buy different card. This card is 4 years old and was very basic and low end even back then.

I can't comment on whether its enough for Counter Strike Global Offensive. But I can say it won't be good for 99% of games.

He's got an old dual-core CPU that lacks in L3 cache. Anything above an HD 56xx will be wasted.

Can you put a screenshot up with that o/c. It might be a good starting point for a bit more if its stable and cool.

Watch your temps.
If there is no gain in your fps switch it back for now....just a suggestion.

HD 5450 are ok for youtube and aero effects but arent for gaming at all and i wouldnt bother trying to o/c it it will just burn.
4 gb ram will do for now

2nd user decent enough gpu for that game will cost about £ 30.00 if your psu will take it. ( Hd 5770 ish)

Why did you run it for only 1 minute? You should run it for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight). While a better vga will definitely help, at some point it will be held back by the cpu. What kind of FPS are you getting currently in CS:GO and at what resolution are you trying to play it? Also where are you located and what would be your budget for upgrade?

90 degrees is hot, too hot.
i would put that switch back for now.

Temp looks like it was still going up too.

If that is the only game you intend playing then a good upgrade would be a secondhand gpu.
The gpu is the MAIN stumbling block.

or
save up for a new pc.

Either way, OP needs a new computer; not overclocking a toaster.

If the has the money sure. I wrote that also

Both your CPU and GPU are pretty low end so upgrading them will help your fps.

But it he doesn't he will have to make do with what he has. Or are you gonna buy him one? In the end why can't we help him squeeze every last bit of performance from it. CS:GO is not that demanding. Overclocking that cpu and sticking a 5670 or 5770 should be more than enough for it

What kind of FPS are you getting currently in CS:GO and at what resolution are you trying to play it? Also where are you located and what would be your budget for upgrade?

A dint know that..
