Older games that use LAN were best for this. Most newer games have gotten rid of the LAN option in multiplayer. My favorite LAN game is dungeon siege 2

There was an older game, from about ten years ago The Chronicles of Narnia, that allowed two-player co-op on the same computer and keyboard.

Trine 1 + 2 allow for 3 player coop on the one PC, with mouse+keyboard or gamepad. (xbox 360 gamepads natively supported)

I was thinking Trine too and such a cool game as well.

    I believe the below do
    Logo games
    How to Survive
    Magicka

Not coop but allow 2 players to play against each other.
    Pool Nation
    Pinball FX2

Heroes of Might and Magic II has local multiplayer and it is very fun for an older game. You can run it in DOS BOX and it hasn't lost its appeal despite its age IMO.

Monaco I know you can but you have to have one xbox 360 controller per player synced to the computer.

Other than that, yeah, the Lego games are all I can think of off the top of my head (Batman, Star Wars, etc.). They are only two person co-op though.

heroes of might and magic 3. single pc, online multiplayer/ one of the best Turn base strategy ever.
older Rpg called Dungeon Lords, you need to get all official updates and unofficial fan made update, because without them its buggy and you will stuck somewhere. Very good game IMO. You can play that in co-op. / RPG
if I remember correctly some COD had co-op mode too?/ shooter
Lord of the rings The return Of the king 2004 game, but is really fun too play at least once. Action/rpg/adventure
I guess some racing games huh ? :)
mortal combat, Injustice god among us/ Fighting

Nibbles! (the reason i started over clocking way back years ago. later became known as snake) it was a game in an audio editing software. you hit add effect.. and then went to play nibbles for about an hour whilst it added a flange effect that did not sound how you wanted it to.
