ok so i use Camtasia to capture a video on screen an .camrec file. I figure out that if i can use a built in func to convert it to .avi

the thing is the video is toooo large. 750mb for 2:30 min long vid. Can you guys recommend me a program to compress the video / or may be a better way to do the video capture thing.

    many thanks

edit: Camtasia will output .camrec file. i then use built in func to convert to .avi

its uncompressed AVI, a free alternative is mediacoder or you can use windows movie maker to convert to WMV
