Grand Re-Opening of CompUSA is going to be happening on May 9th between the hours 5-9pm ET. They will be having a big sell for all those who are E-mail holders to their website. I suggest everyone that can see it do. Also go and get signed up for e mails. I don't know what they are going to sell, but it should be good!

Tigerdirect always has some good deals in their newsletters. I enjoy drooling on my keyboard almost daily. Unfortunately for them, I usually find better prices elsewhere.

    link for e-mail sign-up

    Should be interesting :):toast:

Kinda begs the question... why bother?

I was wondering why compusa's site looked so familiar.

CompUSA had to close down there Stores in January (probably bankruptcy), TigerDirect bought them, CompUSA Stores are now re-opening but not only that but TigerDirect is now renaming there own stores "CompUSA" must be a marketing thing.

Save a couple grand for each store by re-using the signs I suppose.

I'd rather see a TigerDirect B+M though. That'd be much more interesting :)

huh, i didnt know that tiger direct bought compusa. that is interesting. i wonder if they are trying to position themselves better with newegg. gasp! what if compusa can match the prices of newegg and instead of waiting 2 days i could actually go to the store and get it. newegg might be in trouble.

I was quite surprised that Compusa was opened back up with their stores in Florida, Texas, and the Pureto Rico one. Then, the fact that they where going to give RM the same price on something as Newegg had it was something else also. It shows that they really want to make a name for them selves.. I'm going to be going back to their store here every so often! The prices where so much better then Newegg on a few things here and there.
