I'm trying to figure out what this connector is. It is found on a dog tag maker.
Pics aren't working. It's imageshack. I forgot that I block everything from there.

I think you can find them on older music equipment as well, and other serial applications.
my first instinct was to check my hardware chart but alas it wasn't there!! probably because it's hardly "common" at all
Actually its under "Ports" third row down on the right.
Correct - MIDI uses the same connection type. You can find MIDI connections on old electronic synth/keyboards.
