Unfortunately, I can't draw a straight line with a ruler so I won't be participating but I think this is a very interesting idea and should be a lot of fun seeing the different artwork :)

    Good luck to all participants

Thanks Kreij for the fun idea :toast: and W1zzard for allowing it :toast:

Do you want the 3d files from the program or just a 2d representation of the 3d files?

And I thought that was the Mr "T" symbol

A cool 3D rendering of a one superimposed over a zero... now that's a challenge.

The only problem with this competition is:
    - there is no definition regarding where they'll use this logo (not every logo is good for every situation)
    - no size definition (size does mater, especially if the required logo will be small, just downsizing it later doesn't always work)
    - they are saying "3D", but no one is mentioning in what way (a 3D render in Maya, 3D look made in Photoshop, some other form of 3D). Important because Maya 3D render will look nice but will be useless for webpage usage. Photoshop one will be useful for webpage but will not look as bling bling and 3D as the one from Maya.
    - does it require to blend in with the background or not (considering they want it 3D which makes it hard to use on any background in the first place...)

I love the competition but would also like a more defined guideline of what you really want.

Is it supposed to be just a re-envisioning of the power button or can we start from a blank slate... and I hope you have a specific need for for a 3d render cause otherwise that's a really shitty limitation.

OP updated. I hope that clarifies it somewhat. I am used to using Blender for any 3D work I do, but feel free to use whatever you want.

Okay, now that doesn't sound like a logo-REDESIGN-contest anymore. :(
