Typically no after only a minute since your last post;) If you see it hasn't seen a hit in a day, then feel free to put it back to the top of the listings.

Lol ... Alex, normally you do not want to bump a thread if it's less than 24 hours since the last post (whoever may have posted that).
You do not have to quote something to bump a thread, and you don't want to quote your own post(s) in a bump.

In this case I'll let you slide as I like to see contests get a little more exposure as some people may not have seen it, and we want everyone to participate that would like to do so.

To keep on topic I'll write a quick poem ...

    Mussel's on the loose
    'Rockers got the noose.
We all gather 'round to see who sings,
from the pain of the banstick's mighty stings.
Drop your drawers and take the stance,
'Cause you know it's you that's going to dance.
One for the money, two for the show,
Three months off before you get to know.

Plenty of time to enter people ....

So I'm sitting here on this wooden plank above a big tub of water. There's a whole bunch of rocks to throw at the target to drop me in the water.. Where are the throwers?

I think I know the reason for the lack of entries: techy types like us aren't the types to write non-techy arty farty poems. This is the reason that I haven't entered.

I think if you change the competition to something that would appeal to techies, then you'll get a much larger response.

For example, change it to one where members have to subordinate themselves and grovel their appreciation of forum admins and mods, I bet you'll have the whole of TPU entering! :D ;)

How about: write a program which randomly abuses or flatters a random mod :D

I like it, I wish I could click the thanks button, lol.

Seems a random way to get an infraction, doesn't it?
