Hi don't know whether anybody can help me but I bought an Coolermaster Hyper T4 cpu cooler to go with my new motherboard Gigabyte Z97X-GAMING GT socket 1150, when I ordered the cooler it said for Intel 1150 and on the box it says Intel 1150 but the fitting instructions don't say Intel 1150 the closest is Intel 1155 do I use these fitting instructions.

If they fit, use them. That's how this cooler is designed to work. I've installed a few of them, they will fit secure.They might not be exactly square...I usually have mine slightly turned upward a couple degrees off center if the bracket requires that (for rear exhausting method).

1155 and 1150 use the exact same mounting. Just follow those instructions for mounting.

Add 1156 to that list, they are all supposedly interchangeable.

They are! I guess I should have said all 115X sockets use the same mounting holes.
