thanks for the responses

Yeah, i thought my temps were a little too high...

I dloaded Intel Thermal Analysis tool, as opposed to Everest Ultimate and my temps read as following (stock 2.1Ghz and idle):

CPU0 - 11*C
CPU1 - 17*C

Yet Everest and ASUS PC Probe still pulls out a 43-45*C (theres a 2*C diff b/w the two)

And under full load from Intel Thermal Analysis tool on both cores:
CPU0 - 22*C
CPU1 - 28*C
Everest - 55*C
PC Probe - 57*C

Can provide screenies on request

One proggy is too high, and the other is too low :p

Note: Room temp is probably 25*C. According to ATi Tool, GPU is at 44*C, GPU Ambient is 42*C

Temps are as follows @ 3.2Ghz

Everest/PC Probe: 62*C idle
TAT: CPU0 - 28*C, CPU1 - 36*C

@ load on both cores for 2 mins
Crashed...as soon as i pressed "load" for both cores, PC Probe hit 85*C
TAT instantly hit: CPU0 - 45*C, CPU1 - 50*C

Put it down to 3Ghz:
Everest/PC Probe: 55*C idle
TAT: CPU0 - 21*C, CPU1 - 29*C

@ load on both cores for 2 mins
Everest: 78*C
TAT: CPU0 - 41*C, CPU1 - 47*C

Somehow, i wanna believe TAT, but it cant be 11*C and 17*C at idle with stock 2.1Ghz...

wouldnt load up cus 'my cpu doesnt support DTS readings'

Somethings def. up with the sensors. Ive opened the side case, aimed a desktop fan straight @ the comp, put it on max, and put my CPU fan to max (3200RPM) and at 3Ghz

The idle temp is still 46*C...TAT tells me its 14*C and 22*C
Load is 67*C, TAT is 32*C and 40*C

Doesnt speedfan have temperature readings? You might try that.

speedfan is wacked :p:

System: 42*
CPU:54*C
AUX: 119*C
Hard disk: 40*C

@3Ghz idle

@HeUeR: The Gigabyte G-Power PRO is actually a very good fan. It isnt totally silent, but it keeps things cooler than an arctic freezer. It kept my Prescott CPU at 28*C idle, and when i OC'd my prescott to 4Ghz, it kept it at 35*C :p
