I hate Fry's. They need to get a Nebraska location, stat.

I read the Fry ads on newspaper every Friday, and there is a Fry warehouse nearby (15 mins driving). :D

    Ditto...

Ohh well though, prices on the I7 chips are coming down fast, just another reason why I waited to upgrade...

Maybe when they drop a little more and boards come down I'll make the move and just use my quad in my file/game server :)

dark2099, I'm on north side. For a low, low price of $34.95** I would be willing to get you there. All the accommodations will be provided with latest comfort amenities. (Stale cold coffee and a 10-day old half-eaten donut.)

**One way trip only. For return trip please include additional funds.

    Additional funds: $120.95

    :D:D:D:D

On a serious note: not a bad deal, however six weeks ago this CPU was only $207 shipped from MWave ebay store with 30% Live cashback. (You could also get a cheap MSI X58 Platinum motherboard from them for $150 after cashback.)

Thats a pretty sweet deal. If I was looking for one of these I would be in the car right now. Definitely worth the trip. (The closest fry's to me is about 45min away)

And that is why Phenom 2 is going to have a hard time getting hold...well maybe. That is a damn fantastic price.

Yeah if intel was smart they would try to push as many of these as they can before Phenom II hits the streets. I think one thing that is killing intel right now is that they don't have a mid range board for the i7 socket. The x58 is just a little spendy.
