Counter-Strike 1.6

    does any one know how to find out what version of cs you have i have the one that came with hl2 is that 1.6 im going to a lan and they a plaing 1.6 that why i need to find out

    There are only two versions of CS out there and they are both on the Steam engine (even though that engine sux). You either have Counter Strike (which is 1.6) or Counter Strike:Source. If you didn't pay for cs or paid $15 then u have 1.6, otherwise you paid 20 for cs:source. If it doesnt say source then you have 1.6. Hope that helps

    Counter Strike Source comes with HL2.

    Counter Strike 1.6 is the original.

    Actually there are 3 versions of counterstrike...lets not forget about CS:Condition Zero
