Alright so I had a PSU failure for the review system. Thankfully DeepCool had my back and helped me get up and running again. So after tearing down the system I figured someone might like to see the Frankenstein setup I use to test with.

Big thanks to DeepCool for the DQ1250w 80 Plus Platinum unit.

    Test System

After disassembly and a good cleaning i rerouted the Sata cable for easier use.

PSU Installed fits nicely definitely a great deal bigger and heavier than the 650W it is replacing.

Motherboard install with ATX 24 pin and EPS 8 pin connected. I wish the 24pin cable was a bit longer it BARELY reaches the motherboard.

All these cables but no hardware to utilize them. Seriously just the HDD and fan controller need cables.

Ghetto fan controller setup. I could put it in the 5.25 bay but do its distance away from me this works a bit better for double checking fan speeds and RPM readings.

Tiny little itsy bitsy HD5450 Passive installed? Check!

I must admit this little Lianli test bench has been pretty good to me. Maybe Ill grab the extra pieces for fans and like soon. As I don't think I will be replacing it until it breaks or I get really bored with it.

Yes indeed I was originally using an NZXT Hale82+ Modular 650W unit. Need to RMA it. Shit happens.

Thankfully DeepCool was able to help me out so While excessive for sure I can keep on working without delay.

Your dead PSU has the same internals as my 3 year old Corsair TX V2, which makes me uneasy ... how old was it?

Damn, mine even survived the incident where I forgot about that little bottom filter for a few months

Would you say because its a review system that failure occurs more often or just bad luck?

I have never seen AMD memory. I love it.

Yea the AMD memory is surprisingly good and hilariously enough it matches the red / black MSI Intel motherboard perfectly.
