Finally got the time to test this ASUS mobo and see what i can get out of it :D

Been mucking around all arvo, and got it up to 3.9Ghz (FSB 260), w/ memory @ PC3300

just as a note, i got the mem up to PC3700, and i got two sticks of RAM that have similar timings (2.5-3-3-8 and 2.5-4-4-8), as i took out the 3.0-4-4-8 :)

Anyways, i set the CPU voltage to 1.5000V. as soon as i set the FSB any higher, either the XP loadup screen crashes on like the first bar (at around FSB 270) and at around FSB 265, i get to desktop and it crashes.

Im quiet happy with the OC (got 1157 in 3dmark06 for CPU score as opposed to 800 @ 3.0Ghz ;)) but 4Ghz sounds so nice :)

So the question...what is the crashing from? Is it the CPU or motherboard cant handle over 3.9Ghz? Do i need to pump more volts into the CPU? Or is the RAM insufficient or wat :p?

Post any feedback or an answer to the question :)

    Thanks in advanced!

yeah, got like 1195 in SM2.0 and got a total of 2197 :)...thats without any OC on the X800, just @ 520/560 :)

bout to test CS:Source stress test...before the OC it was 89FPS...lets see what happens :D

btw idle temps of CPU @ 3.9 are 41*C, with CPU fan running slowest ;)

    hmm...

ran CS:Source stress test and got a merry 100.25 FPS :D

only problem is...i tried to OC the gfx card, and it crashed as soon as i put the memory above 570 ...it went to 610 before...

...just another thing, i noticed a volt option in BIOS to do with the AGP slot...pushing that up will surely make the card go higher, but just like to know wats safe, cus i aint in the mood for burning a hole in my pocket :p (its @ 1.5V atm)
