You could get better specs in a retail PC for $100 cheaper.

Well it's a decent rig, except for the fact that it is called a gaming computer but has a 7200 and is $850. Upgrade that card to a 4830 and well call it $550.
    boomstik360 says thanks.

$1500 to make in 2000... The 7200 was a budget card from the get go, the E8400 wasn't cheap, but I don't think it was ever over $300, don't think it would have been possible to put that together for $1500 ever, even when new.

Thanks man, I plan on enrolling in the Computer Hardware Engineering program. Should be pretty tough.

Yeah its pretty crazy over there. I wen't over in march and had a blast. It was my first time there and I absolutely loved it! It was definitely crazy though. The only thing I really remember about the first night was waking up and running to the bathroom to puke my guts out.

Wish I had gone last year as a freshman, but hey I still got 3 good years to go.

I love the text... "custom built" "$1500 not very long ago" "Bought an imac and no longer need it" "...is one of the fastest computers on the market" LOL

"It is perfect for everything from intense gaming to audio recording or video editing."

Intesity in this case is trying to dodge bullets at 7 FPS. Its called "Power Point Gaming" becuase your games are now a slideshow - very, very intense.
