hmm i would say buy it. i have just a regular titanium which is basically the same thing just without the fancy branding. it a pretty good sound card with everything most people would need. but I'm pretty sure the Fatal1ty cards doesn't have front headphones pass-though to it unless you have the 5.25 drive bay thingo if you don't need that buy it.

I had the same card for about 6months before the Opamps went south and i couldnt listen to anything without it just sounding retardedly distorted. thats when I jumped off the Creative boat and hit up some Asus cards.

The Titanium does games, music and moves alright but for music and movies its not as spectacular as a Xonar D2X or an STX. but then STX's are alot more expensive.
    AsRock says thanks.

Yes more than twice as expensive. Don't listion to music or films on my PC so that aint bad.

It's games and the mic that needs to be better..

Worse case is i will have to send it back but trying to find out how much better it actually be.

And yes i know sound is subjective. But for example i like a sound with a kick and grunt :p.

actually I dont think it will make much difference at as I remember reading somewhere that the SupremeFX is based on a creative XFi card - More like an XFi Lite Edition if you will.

I like the same too but i tend to like a lot of clarity in my music. for example - if a drummer hits a crash cymbal it sounds crisp and like your right in the studio where hes playing

Is this going to be hooked up via optical cable to your receiver (like in your sig)?

I like thunder and heat stopping bass without it sounding loose and boomy, and yeah i like clarity as long as it's open sounding. Which all could be done with 2 speakers but most companys find it cheaper to make more speakers with less quality these days.

Well i will try both ways and see if there is any difference and if so pick the one i like the most. I would not be supprised if i pick Analog over Optical to be honest as a like records over CD's.

I know that watch crazy prices for crazy ass depression when you see your watch drop that much in price.

We can only hope but if they did drop the price on a exspenive GFX card it be when i have no cash lol.
