Hard to tell with how SSD prices are dropping if this is a sale or a new price, but it is a sudden drop of $50. Either way it's a good time to buy.

SSD's are expected to be quite cheap this winter, I wouldn't be surprised by end of 2013 if a 512gb SSD costs, $80.
