Yup , I threw Epic in there !! This Intro deserves it though.

I was just checking out Crysis 2 and so far I'm loving the single player campaign . What caught me off gard was the incredible opener to the game, that was just pure awesome sauce. I decided to make a small clip of it highlighting the main intro. I have to admit though, for a game that's 3D rdy it can sometimes be very low on the depth,it's still an awesome clip to watch.

I kept listening to the intro song over and over again, I found it so compelling, then I found out Han Zimmer made it . That's when it all made sense. That guys hands down has made some of the best music for Movies out there, Just incredible.

Here is the clip I pieced together, hope you enjoy it,

Any ones else have a 3D rdy system? Console or PC?

Just so if anyone is wondering, you can get Crysis 2 to run in 3d on Ati hardware with iZ3D but because it's a Dx9 title, you have to render each frame twice, so you'll need a beefier card.

I just enabled side by side 3D and my Samsung TV does the rest. No iz3d needed.

I just got the idea, but if you have 2 video cards running in 3D does video card 1 render the left eye and video card 2 render the right?

Just pick the side by side option and put yours eyes in 3d viewing mode.

Tried it with red/blue glasses (that work in for example Minecraft) and didn't get any 3D feel at all.

LOL, that's because this is a totally different kind of 3D (as in NOT the one compatible with red/blue specs). You're thinking of Anaglyphic 3D (I think).

You know a lot of people say that Anaglyphic 3D is crappy but that's the only 3d that works for people that asymmetric eye correction for each eye. For example if your right eye is +0.25 and your left is -0.50, stereoscopic 3d will most likely no work for you or in the best case scenario you'll start getting migraines.

Considering the edges had blueish and redish colors, that's what usually makes images 3D with these glasses...

Sorry dude, I didn't mean to sound like a dick :( (but reading my reply it kinda looks that way)

That's one thing that cheeses me about this opener, the 3D effect is low. It's there , but it has been scaled back.

I am playing it in 3D. Like you say its EPIC. Had the same effect when listening to the music and realising it was all Zimmer, made complete sense.
