What do you guys think? I don't have the original Crysis, but recently got a 9800GTX and thought 'what the heck, prob be good to play on full graphics' etc. I played the Crysis beta on an X1900XT and it was good, but at 15-20FPS all the way, i lost interest fast and decided not to buy it. Anywho, Crysis Warhead is a stand-alone 'expansion' on Crysis, but i was wondering if it would be worth buying without the original Crysis? I want to know if i get to keep all the original online modes and weapons from the original, or whether i just get all the new crap and none of the original stuff to go with it? If that was the case, i guess it wouldn't be worth buying and I'm not really prepared to spend 30 quid to play either, while Warhead is only 14.99.

Anyway, I'd appreciate your thoughts on the matter! :)

You can pick up Crysis pretty cheap now, you could always get it from Ebay, it's defintley worth playing, a good game. Crysis warhead doesn't directly carry on from Crysis, it's in the same "time" but on the other side of the island, so your a different person.

It features all the online modes from crysis & new ones. and features new guns ect. If you've bought a 9800GTX, YOU defintley need to get Crysis or Warhead because that's what will make your new card show it's true power.

I liked the 1 player. It turned out good, but the multi was selective. Its was better for LAN parties than internet. The only drawback was the 1 player felt like a 1 or 2 time game. Not much in the repeat area.

I would say that it's worth it, but a huge plus to play the original. Otherwise, you might not know WTF is going on story wise.

Cool thanks for the info. Maybe i will just wait for Crysis Warhead to come out then, if it will include most of the features. About knowing the previous story, well, all i remember from the demo was that my name was Nomad, and at some point, we encounter some bad-ass Alien creature that kills some of my team. Oh, and we're in North Korea fighting North Koreans. Anyway, i could always 'acquire' it for the story, get Warhead for the multi.
