Well its what they always say on another forum site when people are asking for opinion about changing the cooling fan that comes with the CPU, the warranty would be voided

Well, if you do change the fan on the stock cooler; then you may void the warranty.


If you use an aftermarket cooler, I do not believe you will void the warranty on the cpu.

well i think i just misunderstood what the poster said but its this.

"You do not need and should not use anything other than the heatsink and cooling fan supplied with your processor as you will invalidate the Intel warranty if you do, see below;

damage to the Product due to external causes, including accident, problems with electrical power, abnormal electrical, mechanical or environmental conditions, usage not in accordance with product instructions, misuse, neglect, alteration, repair, improper installation, or improper testing;"

so i tried to find another ram for my set and i end up with this one.. it is compatble with the sabertooth z77 as stated on their site.. is this good enough compared to the first one i chose?
G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DD... with a timing of 9-10-9-28

and another thing my friend has an extra corsair dominator fan just sitting their doing nothing so was thinking if i would put it in my set would it fit with any other rams??

Ohh yeah and i updated my main post. just wanted you to know so you might read some changes
