I honestly can't think of a better way to make use of 15 seconds, cause that is literally the amount of time it would take one to do this petition.

Especially for such a great game on such an amazing platform.

If it's in the cards then it's in the cards, something as flaky as an online petition isn't convincing anyone. I would like to play it but these things are a waste of effort.

From: GameFront: "Responding to a player question, a Namco employee states that demand might be enough to bring Dark Souls to the platform, but so far, it doesn’t seem it was really there."

Enough reason to sign the petition, so have a coke and a smile, and sign the petition. Unless of course you don't like the idea of a port in which case you are wasting your time in this thread.

    kthxbye

48k signs in 3 days. That's pretty good. Sales from those people alone is probably worth enough to cover costs of porting the game.

Project Rainfall anyone (though I may be inaccurate with the name)?

Apparently some petitions do work, but given the tiny niche and low profits this is likely not going to do squat.

The online petitions do very little, unless they become a huge success or have some extenuating circumstances. I'm still waiting for new Firefly, Megas XLR, and the US politicians to put SOPA in the bureaucratic Hell that it deserves. Assuming that this was a Wii exclusive, and Nintendo had f*** all else to release, then a petition might help. As it stands, this is a pipe dream.

Best of luck, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Edit: For those not in the know, Rainfall sought to get Xenoblade and a hand full of titles ported from Japan. The titles already had local language translation, because European market had them ported. Nintendo of America sat on its hands, until the fans got irate and they had to provide the port or risk fan backlash. All of this came when Nintendo is slowing down new game release, presumably in preparation for the launch of their next console. Apparently, no games and no love make your consumers angry. Who'd have thought that...<sarcasm>?

I guess the difference with Dark Souls going to PC is that there will be a handsome profit/monetary gain for the company to do it with marginal expenses.

Firefly will never be back because of the actors age and other financial investment. Also bringing it back could risk ruining it. Sequels/continuations never live up to peoples expectations.

i just hope if they do it, it's done right and not just a half-assed console port. the first mass effect brings back memories of console RPGs brought to the PC late and half-assed

Over 80,000 signatures so far...woooo wooooooo!! ANY software company developing games in their right mind will make a game if there is a demand for it. This petition is proof. The more people that sign, the better the chances that they will actually consider porting it over to PC. This "oh, nothing is going to get done about it" mentality is just sad. Being lazy, fat, and pessimistic is what we've become....I SAY NAY!!! If you want something done, you have to stand up and speak out.

But graphic wont change anyway because its console port, even if they pass it to PC.Anyway I spend in game more than 50h finished it once and half way thru 2nd play. Game its superb, but guess its not worth making it for PC.

Demons souls was a fantastically frustrating game and some of the most fun I've had.

I never beat it though. Dark Souls looks even better. I'd dig a pc version for sure.

Kind of Glad I never finished my PS3 Version of the game, but sad I might end up spending another week and 60 bucks to play the PC version again.
