When I logged on the other a zombie killed on the spot, it was right next to me. Next I was running from 3 zombies and I ran into a building I door and they came right through the walls and killed me lol

The zombies in the mod still suck. This game is still unfinished. Can't expect things to be finished when... well it's unfinished.

I know. But their priorities seem out of wack.

Not really. You don't have artists (the people who make pink hats, cans of beans, etc.) program the game engine.

Exactly. Why hire so many artists?

I do but I rather not spend 1 hour trying to find you only to have lag spawn me somewhere that I can not escape or have a zombie warp through a wall and one smack kill me.

I know, I know. I am just whining. I think that a really nice feature to have just for the Alpha would be the ability to choose your spawn point. It could be that when you spawn you can choose between any of the cities on the coast. That would help those of us who paid for early access get around without spending an hour trying to find friends.

I'm guessing it would take you a lot longer than that. Har Har.

The problem I still have with the standalone is mostly vehicles. It's so goddamn boring to walk from coast to coast and finding people and all without one. Been there, done that in the mod. Never again. I get kind of geared up in the standalone only there is absolutely nothing for me to do. Can't see anyone, get hit by a random zombie that I should've killed in the first place, find every goddamn hat and jacket but no shirt to bandage my wound. Ridiculous...IMO.

Big patch today on experimental. Lots of new stuff apparently.

*Also, DayZ is coming to PS4.... To me this is good as we'll probably get a more polished product in the end. :)

Probably around 3 years. I'm fine with it. The only reason I play this game is for the social interaction and the heart-pounding moments when things go south. Even with all the bugs and crap this game has it really delivers a unique experience.

Oh shit. They really want to kill a promising game? Nothing good has EVER come out of porting PC games to consoles. Remember Skyrim (except they fucked it up from the very beginning)? They fucked it up SO badly because of compatibility with consoles. I'll never forgive Bethesda for doing that.
