I only looked at it, I wasnt sure it was an MMO or more like a D2 type of game.

It's got action elements to it. I only got it because I play the table top D&D and it's fairly faithful. It's Forgotten Realms iirc.

I'd give a 9/10 :) I got it at launch and there weren't many players! I loved it because it played like a hack 'n slash game, but it had all the D&D moves and spells which was really cool.

Yeah I played the demo and it's quite really good actually. Once it go F2P I'll probably go ahead and buy it. I just don't like the idea of the item shop, but there's no PvP in DDO so I don't really care.

I'm not sure if you can get the free sub quiet yet, and I'm not sure if you have to buy it. I think thy are testing free subs with that beta, then prob more info will be out.

Mainly Guild Wars. But she is under the impression that if I get into DDO or WoW that I would get addicted and more time will go to the games than her.

My gf plays WoW so works nice, granted I don't really play anymore, was/is a great game, but 4.5 years is enough. But before she started playing, I knew how you felt.
