Looking to replace the 2 Single Gb chips in the refurb I just purchased, and crank it to 4Gb. Bought an Optiplex 760 Small Form Factor, and I'd like to get a little more elbow room. Anyone got any sitting around in an old box they're interested in getting rid of for cheap? :)

I don't think the Dell's support ECC or 4 gig sticks. Pretty sure the max that system will take is 4 gigs total.

Dang! I just got rid of a boat load of 2 gig ddr2 ram. :banghead:

Sorry, the initial entry is the RAM that is actually loaded in the computer, the additional line later is from the official Dell Info page. So, basically, either will do :)
