my first impression is that ddr3 2000 is not worth the price, however i am looking for reasons why. any help?

im not very knowledgable in the computer department (but hey we all need to learn :))

but i think that ddr3 2000 would be a good investment because its faster than ddr1 and ddr2 and it will perform better (if my logic isnt flawed)

Wait it out dude. If you really want ddr3 go for something in the 1500 - 1700 speed. Then overclock it. Just my 2 cents.
