Hi,

I have a little problem with my Ram. I have 2 sets of (8x2) G-Skill Ripjaws DDR4 bus 3200.
My CPU: i7 6700K
Mainboard: MSI Z170A Gaming M7
GPU: MSI 980TI Golden Edition
PSU: Cougar CMX 700W
SSD: 2 1TB Sata SSD

Here is the problem.
After I Installed 2 sets of Ram [(8x2) x2] = 32GB and Set bus to 3200, my PC won't boot (Screen no signal) and later show "Boot Failure Multiple Times".
*But, if I set ram bus to 3000, It's working fine.*

So, I tried installed 1 set of Ram (8x2) = 16GB and Set bus to 3200, It's working fine.

Why I could not set bus to 3200 on 32GB? What could be the problem?

I have tried google this problem, but I could not find any.

Sorry if there is something wrong in my English, I'm from Thailand.

It's always a better option to get a full 32gb kit set of matching ram as it's guaranteed to work together, whereas putting 2x 16gb sets together is not, even if it is the same kit.

If it were me, I'd probably just be happy that they play well together at 3000 instead of the 3200, and I'd leave it at that. I'm no expert however so others may have some tips for you to try.

Nice setup by the by ;)

Thanks :) Maybe my next build I would buy (8x4) 1 set instead of these.
Actually I am happy enough that it's working with bus 3000 (If it's 2133 or 2400, I would be crying).

To be honest this was happened once.
I used to have FX-8350 with MSI 990FX + MSI R9 290X. I have [(8x2)x2 sets] DDR3/1866, but I had to reduce bus to 1600 to boot the PC.
I could have learnt from that, but I still did it again :(
